Max Foley’s Dad and his friends take the 3 Peaks Challenge!

Our story was first published in December, just as Uncles Stephen and Gordon completed a 100k bike ride, raising £2491.51. Since then Max has been signed off by Mr Nejad, as to all of our amazement, his hip had re-formed to an almost a rounded shape. When we were first told about Max having Perthes, we were told it could be a 4/5 year process. Max has been very lucky and through all of our perseverance, and an operation undertaken by Mr Nejad, he has completed the whole process in just under 2 years. Fortunately Max's bones have re-grown in virtually the shape they should and now his bones have hardened he can resume normal life as a 6 year old.

Rapper’s Surprise invite for best fan, popstar Vanilla Ice melted a schoolgirl’s heart for the second time when he sent her a personal invite to the Dancing on Ice Tour. Grace Ralston aged nine from West Wickham first met the American rapper at the ITV show in March.

London to Brighton …

On an early Sunday morning in June, the James Pendleton Estate Agents and Live to Give Charity team awoke to the sound of bells. Not the usual Church bells but the ones of thirty thousand cyclists all gathering on Clapham Common SW4, to proudly take part in the fifty six mile county lane cycle hike from London to Brighton.
