Max Foley’s Dad and his friends take the 3 Peaks Challenge!

Our story was first published in December, just as Uncles Stephen and Gordon completed a 100k bike ride, raising £2491.51. Since then Max has been signed off by Mr Nejad, as to all of our amazement, his hip had re-formed to an almost a rounded shape. When we were first told about Max having Perthes, we were told it could be a 4/5 year process. Max has been very lucky and through all of our perseverance, and an operation undertaken by Mr Nejad, he has completed the whole process in just under 2 years. Fortunately Max's bones have re-grown in virtually the shape they should and now his bones have hardened he can resume normal life as a 6 year old.
